Located halfway in Washington D.C. and halfway on the Maryland side, the Friendship Heights Metro and Bus Station serves hundreds of commuters throughout the region.
The station opens around 5am and provides bus and subway service, as well as a taxi service to travelers. This station also boasts 50 bike racks for cyclists. The Western Avenue exit provides a florist shop that sells newspapers, and there are numerous restaurants and shops nearby, such as The Capital Grille. The station is located at the intersection of Wisconsin and Western Avenues.
