Idaho Rush Soccer Club was formed in 2006 through the merger of a handful of longstanding and successful soccer organizations: the Capitol Youth Soccer Association ( CYSA ) ; a number of competitive soccer clubs, led by Idaho Osprey Soccer Club ; Rush Soccer The Capitol Youth Soccer Association ( CYSA ) has provided soccer opportunities for the children of Boise for the past 30 years. CYSA is the longest serving soccer organization in the state of Idaho, pre-dating even the state governing body. Over the years, its Recreation and Greater Metro programs served as the developmental ground for tens of thousands of soccer players. Hundreds of players who started with CYSA as young players have gone on to play collegiate soccer, while the majority simply continue to play for fun as a lifetime sport. In the merger, CYSA provides an unmatched history of providing recreational and developmental soccer for every child who wanted to play. Osprey, FCBoise, Genesis and Blaze soccer clubs, each among the most family-oriented clubs in the Treasure Valley, have histories of taking developmental players and maximizing their potential in competitive environments. Combined, the clubs have won state championships and sent nearly a dozen teams to Far West Regionals, and many of their players excelled in high school, ODP, and college play. In the merger, the clubs provide experienced, talented coaching staffs and proven success in competitive soccer.
