Boys & Girls Clubs of Alaska is affiliated with the national program of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. More than 40 national programs are available in the areas of education, environment, health, the arts, careers, alcohol, drug and pregnancy prevention, gang prevention, leadership development and athletics. Its teen center caters to members of ages 13 to 18, offering a range of programs such as teen supreme, life skills, job ready and career explorers club. The technology center s programs include power hour, tutorial, ultimate journey, environment awareness and career preparation. The club, based in Anchorage, Alaska, provides a variety of sporting activities, including basketball, football, hockey, soccer, volleyball and cheerleading. Boys & Girls Clubs of Alaska is affiliated with the national program of Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
