The Academy of Careers and Technology provides technical and academic skills to adults and secondary students in West Virginia. The academy offer full-time programs in to improve the basic academic, computer and occupational performance skills of students. It also strives to educate students on workplace safety and enhance leadership skills. The Academy of Careers and Technology is operated by the West Virginia Department of Education and the Raleigh County School System. Its programs are accredited by the North Central Association and other national program agencies. The academy enrolls more than 650 students from private and high schools. It offers courses and training in collision repair, electrical technology, pharmacy, welding and phlebotomy. The Academy of Careers and Technology is located in Beckley, W.V.

The Huntington School of Beauty Culture is categorized with the junior colleges and technical institutions of Huntington, West Virginia. Each student receives instruction and exposure to the essential technical skills through our cosmetology and manicure courses.
