Founded in 1866, Christ Episcopal Church has been serving area residents. A member of the Episcopal Church USA and of the worldwide Angelican Communion, it has been at its current location since 1949. The services are traditional, yet relaxed. Christ Episcopal also houses the Chapel Day Preschool, established in 1969, which is open to members and non-members alike.
The Bethesda (Betezda) Romanian Pentecostal Church, located near John R Road, is set back from the road and has a large green space with a river running through it. This Pentecostal church holds services in English and Romanian. A choir, br ass band, kid's ministry, mission ministry, high school ministry and young adult ministry are available.
This church's mission is "making disciples who make disciples." Besides its weekly services, it hosts periodic Bible study and a youth group from 6pm to 7:30pm on Sundays where children can become involved in fundraisers that allow them to go on trips to local attractions. The church is also involved in hunger relief and coordinates donations to local food pantries.
Located on the south side of Commerce Road east of Hiller Road, Orchard Lake Community Church Presbyterian is known for its music ministry, including a semi-annual presentation of "The Messiah" oratorio at Christmas, and for its children’s and youth ministry. Led by Rev. Paul Thwaite since February 2010, the church offers Sunday school, worship, communion, baptism, and prayer sessions. OLCCP also offers Lakeland Preschool on-site, Moms and Tots, choirs, bells, violins, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Alcoholics Anonymous, mental health support, and health and wellness.
Orchard Lake Church as also been a leader in the Detroit Presbytery, both in mission support and mission work programs, including a developing relationship with Hope Presbyterian Church in Detroit.
The mission of King of Kings Lutheran Church, located on South Lapeer Road, is to have its members experience growth through a relationship with Christ. Children's ministries are held Sundays from 10am to 11am, and adult services from 8:30am to 11:30am.
St. Isidore Catholic Community was established on June 18, 1957. The parish is home to numerous ministries including an active and varied music ministry that boasts both vocal and instrumental talent. Choirs include the Joyful Noise Children's Choir, Multi-Generational Choir, Voices in Glory and Teen Music Ministers in Christ, as well as various instrumental ensembles.
Other ministries include worship, education, service, stewardship, evangelization and the Parish Pastoral Council. Youth groups are available for middle and high school students and adult groups include the Rosary Makers, Knights of Columbus and Young at Heart.
St. Ambrose was established Sept. 16, 1916. The current church was erected in 1927. St. Ambrose parish broke ground for the gathering space that it calls the ARK in 1999. This unique underground structure is the work of Gunnar Birkerts, the famed modernist architect associated with many buildings in this part of Michigan. The extensive skylights allow a view of the facade of the church.

The Labor of Love Ministries offers parishoners both young and old several opportunities to practice their faith. There are several ministries at Labor of Love, including the men’s fellowship, the women’s fellowship, the singles fellowship and the couples fellowship, as well as the schools ministry, the campus ministry and the missions outreach ministry. Young people can take part in the children’s or teen ministry, or take part in the choir or drama club. The church also has an extensive lay ministry training program, including one that trains people in art of missionary work.
Our Lady of Refuge Parish is a Catholic Church serving the faithful in the Orchard Lake and West Bloomfield areas. The church, led by Father Gerald A. McEnhill, offers an intimate, communal atmosphere. Through its myriad ministries, it encourages spiritual growth and development and bands the congregation together in group activities and community service. Our Lady of Refuge Parish also runs a private school called Our Lady of Refuge School.
