Established in 1919, Kansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit advocacy organization that supports farm families. The organization offers a range of programs, products and services to improve the business and profession of farming. It operates various agricultural education programs, such as Americas Heartland and Slice of Agriculture. Kansas Farm Bureau also operates programs, such as the Food Check-Out Week. The organization s Capitol Experience program is designed to provide high school students a firsthand look at the working of the Kansas government. The Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture awards grants for programs and projects designed to help improve agriculture and the quality of life in rural Kansas. Additionally, The Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture supports education in the State of Kansas through various scholarships.
