The center provides peer support, referral services, social opportunities, educational programs and professional services, all designed to promote the well-being of the community. The Knights of Columbus Council 1802 has been active in Wyandotte since 1915. The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal benefit society, upholding its founding values of charity, unity and fraternity. Council 1802, like all Knights of Columbus councils, is comprised of Catholic men ages 18 and older. It participates in charity work and community events. Rape Victim Advocacy Program provides counseling, support and education services to rape victims and survivors. It also provides medical and legal advocacy. The center welcomes volunteers who would like to provide advocacy services or assist with community outreach and research studies.
