We have been a family business for 25 years. In the 1920’s my Great Grandfather (Fred Stadelhofer) began making centrifugal water pumps in his back garage on California Street in Berkeley. Eventually to be known as BEKELEY PUMPS. My Grandfather & my Father were machinist & draftsman for 40yrs @ Berkeley Pumps. The Berkeley Pump Co. sold to Transamerica in 1984. We kept most of the old employees started business in 1987 & my father made his own product line of End Suction Centrifugal water pumps. Recently STA-RITE Bought the Berkeley Pump Co. & many of their products are being made & Assembled in Mexico & other parts of the world except in the United States of America. We proudly manufacture & assemble our water pumps here in the US. We are old Berkeley Pumps.
