The Detroit RiverFront Conservancy, Inc. was formed as a 501 (c) (3) with the mission of developing access on the Detroit International Riverfront. The entire vision is 5 1/2 miles of Riverfront property, from the Ambassador Bridge to Gabriel Richard Park, just west of the Belle Isle Bridge, and will include a continuous RiverWalk along with parks, plazas and green spaces.

Once completed, the Conservancy is responsible for the improvement, operations, maintenance and programming of the Detroit International Riverfront in perpetuity.

The vision of Detroits transformed Riverfront is clearly becoming reality. However, support is still needed to complete the project and to deliver the world class Riverfront that Detroit has always deserved. The Conservancy is underway with a $140 million capital campaign, which will provide the necessary funding to design and build a new public space, as well as permanently maintain, operate and program the Riverfront for the public.

What is New Visions? New Visions (NV) is a movement seeking positive changes in New Castle and Lawrence County, PA. That conversation expanded and developed into a Board of Directors, then became a public conversation and sought the ideas, talents, and leg-work of those who live, work, and/or are invested in our area. Over the last several years, New Visions has become an independent organization that has sought to engage and empower a volunteer network who have created new initiatives, enhanced existing projects, and seek to have an overall positive impact on our community. New Visions strives not only to think ?outside the box?, but to paint that box white (a blank slate) so that others can see the potential and opportunity that exists here. It aims to be a conversation starter, a catalyst, and a connecting agent which brings people together, builds trust, and starts to shift attitudes and grow pride in our community. We don?t care who gets the credit, as long as progress is happening! Mission Statement: Our mission is to establish Lawrence County, PA as a more desirable community in which to live, work, and play. Vision Statement: Our vision is to develop a comprehensive planning effort that addresses and leads the public interest in finding a greener, cleaner, safer, and more prosperous Lawrence County. We seek to address the social and economic challenges of the community by fostering a cooperative effort that emphasizes the already existing attributes and many gifts of our residents.
