Founded in 1904, Soper-Wheeler Co. LLC. is a forest management firm, based in Strawberry Valley, Calif. The company operates in different counties, such as Butte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Nevada, Plumas, Santa Cruz, Sierra, Sonoma and Yuba, where it manages 97,000 acres of forest land. Soper-Wheeler Co. LLC. harvests wood for construction of about 2040 homes every year. It has a variety of land and leases its property for hunting, mining, grazing, bee range and also operates a vineyard.
Tanner Services LLC has an extensive chipping operation that has the capabilities of producing in excess of 1000 tons of different types of processed chips per day. Its chipping operation provides graded material and fuel chips to paper mills in Texas and Louisiana as well as export markets in the Far East and Canada. Among other applications, Tanner Services produces: mats for any board road application, heavy duty dragline and crane mats, mats for industrial turn-around staging applications customized mats for unique applications and high flotation mats for marine applications. Tanner Services maintains a large inventory of mats as well as a large fleet of Class 8 tractors and low boy trailers so that we can mobilize quickly to most locations along the Gulf Coast, including regions where difficult soil conditions limits access and mobility to remote locations.
Owner Eric Seelig brings 10 years of hands-on experience in timber joinery and timber wood framing construction. Eric is personally involved in the design, cutting, and assembly of every Three Elements frame project. Our emphasis is on customer service in each aspect of our business, from preparing accurate bids and estimates to responding to contractor questions. All of our structural timbers are graded and stamped for quality. Our diversity in design capability carries over to our use of a diversity of wood materials and support system.
