Hawaii Health Systems is the nation s fourth largest public hospital system with an operating budget of nearly $350 million. Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC), a public benefit corporation that provides health care services that include Alzheimer s and dementia care, physical therapy, acute care, family practice, radiology, 24-hour emergency services, cancer care, cardiology and pediatrics. Information System Services Branch (ISSB) is the application development, maintenance and system integration arm of the Office of Information and Telecommunications Services, which is a part of the Hawaii State Department of Education. It encompasses personnel, student, property and financial records. The branch also deals in automated recordkeeping applications related to the inventory, allocation and expenditure of resources. Information System Services Branch assists with budget preparation and execution. The Hawaii State Department of Education governs more than 255 regular and over 10 adult community schools.
