The Fourth District Court of Appeals is an appellate court created by the Florida State Legislature in 1965. Only three appellate judges comprised the Fourth District in 1965-now there are twelve. The Fourth District Court was originally located in Vero Beach, Fla., but was moved to its permanent site in West Palm Beach, Fla., in 1970.
