The Katie & Irwin Kahn Jewish Community Center is an impressive building that sits just off of Flora Drive, with a large sculpture and fountain in front. It offers various membership plans for families, couples, singles and seniors. The center features a fitness center with more than 50,000 square feet of exercise space, cardio equipment with TVs, an indoor track, a full basketball court, as well as personal training, yoga, cycling, aerobics, Pilates and much more. The center’s aquatic area features an indoor heated pool with lessons for all ages, as well as water aerobics, UVA lighting and aquatic personal training. Other amenities include a conference center with a catering kitchen, a locker room, steam rooms, free Wi-Fi, free babysitting, trips, seminars, senior programs, youth programs, a playground and more.
Ray Smith was an elite Tae Kwon Do champion as well as a 1998 Tae Kwon Do instructor of the year. Classes are offered for kids and adults.
All Star Gymnastics teaches gymnastics to children from levels three to 10. It has a team that competes, including all levels. All Star has day camps, open gym nights and child care one night a week for parents' night out. There are five experienced instructors to guide your child safely through their gymnastics instructions.
South Carolina Youth Soccer Association provides members access to leagues and programs. The association holds regular competitions. Soccer coach training is also available.
The Oaks Golf & Country Club is an 18 hole golf course with a par of 35. The course is rye grass. It was opened in 1962.
