Grace Lutheran is a small, bible-based school whose purpose is helping parents prepare their children for a life in Christ. The school is affiliated with the Grace Lutheran Church. It offers classes for kindergarten through grade 8.
King of Grace Lutheran School serves 220 children in preschool through eighth grade and has been providing a Christian education to students for more than 30 years. School Principal Allen Labitzky says the students come from 13 different school districts, and 70 percent of them go to West Lutheran High School in Plymouth upon graduation. The school strives to meet the spiritual and educational needs of today's families.
Located next to Kenny Park, Kenny Community School seeks to maintain high academic standards with an emphasis on the environment. Whether exploring the community garden or composting the scraps from their lunches, this public school provides students with hands-on activities that increase their environmental awareness. In addition to teaching core curriculum like reading and math, the school gives students experience with multimedia and computer use through the media center, which was added in 2001.
