Restaurants Mexican in Novato, California

Chipotle Mexican Grill opened in December 2011 in a location that originally was a Pizza Hut but more recently had been a Starbucks. It is on De Long Avenue right next to the police station and right across Machin Avenue from the long-shuttered Novato Community House. Chipotle, a chain that started in Denver in 1993, prides itself on fresh ingredients and sustainably raised meats. Chipotle is traded on the New York Stock Exchange and has more than 900 locations, but it does not describe itself as a fast food.
