Creekside United Methodist Church hosts weekly worship services on Sunday at 9am and 11am. It also hosts Bible study groups on Sunday at 10am, which are open to all ages. Creekside UMC offers dinner every wednesday night from 5:30pm - 6:30pm, which costs $6 for adults and $3 for kids. (Reservations are required.) Other programs offered include kids programs (K – 5th grade) and small groups (6th – 12th grade). It offers nursery services for kids under age 4 for parents who attend classes.

Mt. Harmony is a Bible-based Baptist Church on Veterans Memorial Highway in Mableton. The parking lot is large enough to accommodate the 1,600+ congregation. There are regular Sunday School classes, Bible Study sessions and two Sunday worship services. There are ministries for children and adults to get involved in the church.
Cross Pointe Church is devoted to loving God and serving others. Its senior pastor is James Merritt. The church has a food pantry for local individuals and families who have suffered economic hardship. Cross Pointe Church believes that the Bible should be used as a guide for daily living.

With a congregation of over 2,000, historic Zion Missionary Baptist Church is a staple of the community. Its new and improved facility houses 8 choirs, each of which serves a different function for the 48 ministries. The addition of a youth center, Latin ministries and ongoing renovations of the church building have helped Zion Missionary continue to grow in ways to better serve its community.
Pastor Dean Ropp has lead Midway Community Church since it was founded in 1997. Midway Community Church is a Christian church of the Southern Baptist denomination. Bible studies for all ages are held at 9:30am each Sunday, and corporate worship services are held at 11am. There's a youth program at 6pm on Sundays, and AWANA from 5:30pm to 7:15pm for children in grade K through five. Wednesday night prayer meetings are held at 7pm. The church has many activities, including youth and children's programs, mid-week bible studies, recreational sports league teams and frequent church-wide fellowships. There's a large ball field on the church grounds.
Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church has been serving the Tucker area since 1962. Rev. Kathy McFarland is the 14th pastor to lead the congregation, which offers Sunday school followed by worship services every Sunday morning.
LRUMC is steeped in ministry and mission traditions. "Music for Missions" has been a staple at the church since 1998 and has raised over $45,000 from 97 free concerts to benefit more than 42 charities. An annual three-day mission trip to Jonesville, VA assists in home repairs for the needy.

East Cobb United Methodist Church, located off Roswell Road in East Cobb, offers traditional, contemporary and Kenyan worship on Sundays. East Cobb United Methodist Church has a Lighthouse child care academy and comes highly recommended by people who live in this area.
Its steeple watching over the city of Decatur, Decatur First brings orientation not just to lost souls, but also lost pedestrians. The historic landmark was founded a few blocks away in the 19th century with the erection of a log structure. It was soon replaced with a granite structure, and later needed a second location, the current sanctuary, to accommodate the rapidly growing population.
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month at the 8:45am and 11am services.

Atlanta Unity Church (AUC) is not a typical church, as it proclaims itself to be a "center for practical spirituality." The lesser-known denomination, Unity, is commonly mistaken for Unitarian, though the two are very different. AUC pursues a metaphysical, Christian approach, which is one of the reasons for its widespread popularity. The building is set in a modern business park, where it has been since 2006, when it uprooted itself from its previous location in Decatur to accommodate an ever-increasing following.
