Housed in a duplex in a woodsy area off Route 34 in Farmingdale, City Lights Recording Studio has a digital recording studio that has the latest equipment and also contains analog recording equipment for a vintage sound. There are also experienced engineers and the latest engineering equipment to assist in pre- and post-production. Everyone from local artists to Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi and the group P-Funk have used the studio for live recordings. Lodging is also available for artists while recording, and City Lights accommodates any genre of music.
NRG Recording Studies is a music recording studio that offers clients state-of-the-art control rooms and lounge areas. Rooms come fully equipped with cinema screens, pro tools, high-speed internet access and more than a terabyte of storage space.
AMP is a music rehearsal and recording studio located along Lankershim Boulevard. The large facility features multiple recording studios and several spaces for rehearsal. All studio space is equipped with Pro Tools, Garage Band, Mac Computers and Internet access, which is all covered in the rental fee. Studios are smaller, but provide great sound and enough space to accommodate most bands and all instruments. The space is two levels, and includes a tracking room, as well rentable rigs, amps, keyboards and more. Credit cards are accepted and parking is metered on the street.
