Westford Preschool is a private, nonprofit and non-denominational preschool serving children from 2.9 to 6 years. Licensed by the Massachusetts Early Education and Care Department, Westford Preschool is equipped with a spacious and inviting environment which allows faculty to care for and enrich children with developmentally appropriate curricula that foster and encourage learning through free play, art, music, storytime, science, math and literacy activities. Westford Preschool also offers an extended day option with "lunch bunch," before and after school care and enrichment classes.
This child care center at the old Frost school offers full-day care for infants and kindergarteners. The Frost School opened in 1908, and the building is holding up "beautifully," officials said. The building was converted to a child care center in 1999. The co-directors are Karen Lessard and Jane Garrahan.
Acorn has classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and prekindergarteners. Programs focus on music, computers, creative outlets, and field trips. The center's mission is to "to create a safe and nurturing environment that fully supports the needs of all the children, families, and teachers that comprise our Acorn Family."
