The Learning Experience is an early childhood learning center offering programs for infants, preschoolers and kindergarteners. The center's age-specific programs are for children 6 weeks to 8 years old, and are designed to foster spatial coordination, cognitive development, math skills, writing skills and social development.
This co-op preschool was established in 1943 and has been in the same building since 1957. Its core mission is to provide children with a safe place to learn and grow, with help from families and staff members. It offers three, four and five-day classes.
Spirit & Truth Church welcomes the community to worship with its congregation at services that incorporate contemporary live music and a sermon. Each newcomer receives a follow-up phone call from a church member to gauge engagement and extend a return invitation. Growing Light Montessori is a local school that opened its doors in 2007. It serves children from 18 months to first grade. The school offers a lot of supervision, a protected space, and extra classes including Spanish, music and art. Growing Light Montessori prides itself on offering kids the freedom to explore their tailored curriculum.
Concordia Place is a non-profit organization in Chicago's North Center, formed in partnership with Concordia Lutheran Church. Its services include early child care, after-school enrichment programs, summer camps and other recreational activities for children, teenagers and adults. Programs include an early learning program and preschool program. Teenagers can participate in a number of after-school programs, including Emerging Leaders, Sprouting Initiative and Recycling and Composting.

Mount Hope Academy is a pre-school to kindergarten school that uses an Abeka curriculum, a Christ-centered, academically challenging program. It incorporates Bible, phonics, numbers, science, social studies, art and music; classes are taught individually and with other kids. The school aims to provides multi-sensory and multi-cultural activities for children.
Faith Lutheran Church holds Sunday worship at 9am and 11am, in addition to Sunday School at 10:10am. The church offers many other programs and outreach services, including bible study. Faith Lutheran School, located on the church grounds, provides a comprehensive education for pre-school and elementary students.
The Early Years Preschool enrolls children from the ages of two to five in a structured program that also leaves time for self-development and play. Parents can choose from a variety of schedules, including full and half days and three, four and five-day weeks. All students participate in a music and science curriculum. There is an extra charge for diaper changing.
