St. Paul Evangelical Church used to be the Somerville Assembly of God. It changed its name in 1970, but remained affiliated with the Assemblies of God. Its present building was completed in 1999. It has a 400-seat sanctuary, a prayer chapel, administrative offices, educational complex, kitchen and fellowship hall.
Pelt Chapel Pentecostal is a small denomination located minutes from Hope Mills. Inside of the one-story brick building, you'll find the sanctuary to be welcoming, with plenty of room for the growing congregation. The church offers multiple services as well as youth groups and Bible study.
A contemporary worship with a live band and great vocalists welcome members and visitors alike at the Calvary Assembly of God. Located on Chamblee Dunwoody Road just north of the farm, the Calvary Assembly of God opens its doors every Sunday at 9am.
The Malden Portuguese Four Square Church is located on the corner of Main and Appleton streets. Services are held on Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 7pm. There is handicap access ramps in both the front and rear of the building. A small parking lot is located in the rear off of Appleton Street for patrons to park at while attending service. There is also limited one-hour street parking in the area as well.
The Life Church in Granby is a non-denominational Christian church located at 23 Griffin Rd. The church is led by Pastors Al and Christine Royal.
D. J. Evans is the pastor at New Life. In addition to regular morning Sunday services, the church offers a "604" service on Sunday nights and a prayer meeting and Bible study at 7pm on Tuesdays. New Life moved to Trumbull in 1982. The church also has campuses in Derby and Bridgeport.
