Maybury State Park is another of Michigan's fine collection of state parks. It features nearly 1,000 acres, with a large variety of trails and activity opportunities. The trails are each tailored specifically for horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, cross-country skiing and jogging. Rolling meadows are lined by densely wooded forests. There's even an eight acre pond for fishing. Hunting is prohibited and vehicle permits are required, so plan ahead.

Mill Pond Park, at 54 acres, is the largest of the Saline community parks. It remains an ever-popular destination in the city, hosting a multitude of events each year. The park is located on the north side of Michigan Avenue, directly across from Curtiss Park. Entrance to the park is gained from the corner of Bennett Street and Mill Road, via an extension of Bennett Street or a pedestrian path. Mill Pond Park features its own 68-spot parking lot, ample space for most functions.
Lac Sainte Claire Park and Marina is located behind City Hall and features play equipment, pool, a 102-foot water slide and marina. During the summer this 11-acre park is heavily utilized by families and boaters and during the off-peak months the facility provides a relaxing, water-front venue.
Clean Water Beach is Michigan's number one private beach that is located off of US-23 by taking exit 23 (Cone Road). Clean Water Beach offers one of the cleanest and most accessible beaches in Southeast Michigan. The beach has beach volleyball courts, cookout areas, kid and family friendly areas, a diving board, rafts and a concession stand. Season passes are available for $50 per person or $150 per family.
