Papa Murphy's is all take-n-bake pizzas; none are cooked in the store. The pizzas are prepared fresh to order. In addition to pizza, diners can purchase lasagna and salad; for dessert, they can pick up cookie dough and cinnamon wheels.

In a twist on pizzerias that offer take-out and delivery, Papa Murphy's sells only pre-assembled, unbaked pies. "We have no ovens," says franchise co-owner Kristen Passow. "And we have no freezers. We grate our own cheese, we cut our own vegetables." It all adds up to a fresher pizza that's ready just when the customer is, she says. The store also has a wagon it can set up for festivals and school events.
