Rappahannock General Hospital, founded in 1977, is a more than 75-bed, nonprofit, independent, community-owned facility that serves people in Northern Neck and the Middle Peninsula in Virginia. The hospital features a laboratory and emergency center. It offers home health services that include nursing care and physical, occupational and speech therapies. Rappahannock General Hospital also provides pharmacy, radiology and surgical services. The hospital manages a cancer treatment and education center that offers prevention, symptom management and early detection solutions. In addition, it provides a mental health program, the Bridges of RGH, which includes individual and group therapies. Rappahannock General Hospital operates the Rappahannock General Hospital Foundation.
