Established in 1990, the Crime Victim Witness Program provides court advocacy and support services for the victims of personal injury and property crimes. The Crime Victim Witness Program serves men, women and children who have become the victims of a variety of personal injury and property crimes, including domestic violence, assault, rape, sexual abuse and murder. It also handles the cases of burglary, robbery, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, forgery, disorderly conduct, harassment, indecent exposure, menacing and interference with an emergency telephone call. The program is a part of the Community Violence Invention Center. The Crime Victim Witness Program is operated from an office location in Grand Forks, N.D.
