This distinctive new entry into the Asian dining scene in Syosset opened in late 2009. Kado Sushi serves a blend of traditional Japanese food, sushi and sashimi, and Southeast Asian entrees (such as duck fajitas, Thai red curry, Indonesian noodle dishes). Diners enter through an impressive stone-walled vestibule into a minimalist modern interior with about a dozen tables; there is also a small private room that can accommodate 8-10 people. As of this writing, Kado serves wine, beer, and saki; they are anticipating getting a liquor license in the future.
Formerly Kikku of Empire, the Golden Temple Chinese and Japanese Restaurant offers dine-in, take-out, online ordering and delivery options. Combining traditional and contemporary fare, Golden Temple's menu consists of sushi, teriyaki, tempura, salads, noodles, soup and more.
Tenjin is a comfortable and creative Japanese restaurant centrally located in the Syosset Plaza Shopping Center. The casual restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and offers fresh sushi and sashimi.
