Rose Acre Farms is a family owned egg farm with operations in the rural heartland of America. The family association with eggs and farming dates back at least 125 years. Rose Acre Brand Eggs came about in the 1930s, started in Indiana by the Rust Family. Early on, eggs were sold at the Indianapolis Farmers Market with eggs produced by the Rust farm located in scenic southern Indiana. The family supplemented those eggs by purchasing surplus eggs from surrounding farmers. By 1955 Rose Acres began construction on the first chicken house located at Rural Route 5, Seymour, Ind. Business did very well with the extremely fresh eggs produced. Growing with additional egg farms located throughout Indiana, and by the 1980s in Winterset, Iowa, Rose Acres has became known for quality & value and freshness throughout the United States.
