On any given weekend, there could be opportunities to learn how to keep bees, build a cobb oven, brew beer or make cheese, drawing on some of the best educators, teachers, chefs and agriculture experts in the Front Range community. Orchard Valley Farms & Market Black Bridge Winery are located in the rugged and pristine North Fork Valley of the Gunnison River near Paonia, Colorado a place so beautiful our produce cant help but taste great! The 80-acre farm was established in 1976 as a grower-supplier for wholesale fruit packing houses in western Colorado. In 1997 we started growing grapes for Colorados emerging wine scene, and in 2003, we launched Black Bridge Winery, making wines from grapes raised in our own vineyards here in the West Elks. Not only were our customers looking for fine wines, but also for locally grown produce, so we expanded to a full-fledged vegetable farm. We are sustainable growers offering a wide variety of fruits, berries, grapes, decorative gourds and vegetables in season here in our farm market.
