North Shore Association of Realtors is a non-profit real estate organization. The Healing Center is a holistic health practice founded by Joanna Scaparotti. Its wellness services include massage, Reiki, spiritual healing, reflexology, herbal consultations, breath work and yoga therapy. The Furniture Institute of Massachusetts is a furniture woodworking program, offering part-time and full-time classes in Beverly. The program provides instruction in furniture design and construction, and is intended for individuals pursuing a career in furniture making. The curriculum emphasizes classical woodworking techniques in a creative learning environment. Part-time classes are offered during the weekend, nights and summer, and the full-time program is from September through June. Philip Lowe is the owner, founder and faculty instructor for the school and has been teaching since 1975. Facilities include a drafting room, machine room, bench room, a reference library and computers.
Project Adventure is a non-profit organization that seeks to incorporate adventure-based educational and developmental programs into a variety of curriculums for a vast array of clients. PA's clients range from youth groups and sports teams to educators, at-risk youth and corporate professionals.
