Light of Knowledge is a learning center that offers courses in a number of disciplines for students from middle school to high school levels. The courses include math, SAT, English, reading and writing, public speech and debates, art, painting, poetry and theatre. Light of Knowledge, established in 2003, provides an excellent learning environment for the intellectual and emotional growth of children.
O-Mei Academy provides after-school elementary school level instruction in math, English and Chinese, along with chess, Kung Fu and Tai Chi. It also offers a summer camp program and classes for adults in kung fu, dance, yoga and fitness. O-Mei Academy maintains a second location in Milpitas.
Legend Learning and Family Resource Center, located on Steven’s Creek Boulevard, offers after-school programs and summer camps as well as classes in creative arts, technology, fun science, writing-speech and more. The center also has a Chinese program, specialized programs in conversation, reading, writing and technology-assisted learning. The Comprehensive Art Program features drawing, painting and specialized Clay classes. These classes are open to all age groups.
This is a division of the Design Worlds for Learning, Inc. Design Worlds for College specializes in assessment and counselling students 8th through 12th grade, to make the best choices in choosing the right for them college and be successful in being admitted in it. The company organizes eight-week meetings and workshops, as well as online and phone support. It also offers College Preparation and College Freshman Follow-Up, from college admission essay through graduate school application and guidance.
Designing World for Careers provides a two-phase online and personalized coaching in career and job exploration for adolescents and adults.
Kwan Academy, located on S De Anza Boulevard, offers a variety of academic and enrichment programs, including after-school and SAT tutoring programs. The programs, designed by highly experienced professionals, are meant to sharpen the students’ understanding of the subject areas they choose.
