The East Coast Dance Center is located in the Center at North Reading Plaza. It teaches dance classes, from beginner to advanced levels, to children and adults. Classes offered include jazz, tap, ballet and modern dance. Zumba, yoga, and Pilates classes are available to adults. The center has a yearly recital each spring and hosts birthday parties. Registration is open to the public.
The North Reading School of Ballet is located at 52 Main St. near Walmart. Classes taught here include ballet, pointe, hip hop, jazz, tap, modern, pre-dance and pilates. A school-wide recital takes place every year. Adult classes, such as pilates, are also offered. Classes are offered for children ages 2-1/2 and older.
The Dancing School of Leone McEnroe Simkins is celebrating its 34th season. From kinder-dance and Tumble-Funk to Jazz for your teenagers and up, The Dancing School has something for everyone. Dancers are evaluated at their current level before placement. Afternoon and evening classes are offered to accommodate busy schedules.
