Virginia Dance Center offers different dance classes for the young and old. At ages 3-4, children start with Creative Movement class and move up from there. Classes offered include ballet, tap, jazz, pom and cheer. Toddlin' Time is a parent and child play gym that teaches the little ones social development and creative learning. The classes are for children from 10 months to 4 years of age, and are divided into age groups.
Northern VA Dance Academy is located conveniently off of Route 28. Its goal is to provide serious and classical instruction on ballet, jazz and tap dancing. It also tries to be a breeding ground for creative outlets and self-expression. Dancing can be beneficial to not only your body, but also your mind and self-discipline.
