The Dance Haven provides dance classes for both children and adults throughout the Boston area. Classes available for children include ballet, tap, boys hip hop, combination classes with ballet, tap and jazz-hip hop, Acro dance competition teams and competition classes. Adult Zumba classes are also offered.
LINX is a Wellesley-based enrichment program located on Linden Street. The program offers camps and classes for children from infancy through age 13. Located on the upper level of the Woodland Plaza in Vineyard Haven, near Humphrey's Bakery, Rise Performing Arts Studio offers dance classes and one-on-one instruction for boys and girls of all ages, up through adults. The studio is located in a corner of the building, and while the entry is small, don't let that fool you. Beyond the tidy little cubbies for shoes and cellphones, an expansive dance studio with classic ceiling-to-floor walls exists. Inside, the lighting and decor make for an almost cozy feel. Once you're on the floor examining your posture in the mirror, it's easy to forget you're actually on the ground level of a shopping plaza.
