Prairie Farms subsidiaries include Ice Cream Specialties, a manufacturer and distributor of all types of frozen treats; PFD Supply, a primary one-stop distributor of products to fast food outlets. Prairie Farms, started in 1938, has headquarters in Carlinville, Ill.
