Lambert-St. Louis International Airport STL is busiest and largest airport in the state of Missouri serving the St. Louis metropolitan area and is situated approximately ten mile northwest of St. Louis’s city center. STL Airport is a hub for Trans World Airlines and moves roughly 13 million passengers annually. Originally known as Kinloch Field, it was sold to the city in 1927 by Albert Lambert becoming the first municipal airport in the United States.

Located just north of I-70 and west of I-170, Lambert International Airport offers parking options including short-term, intermediate and long-term. These options include: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Lot A, Lot B, Lot C and Lot D.

Lambert-St. Louis International consists of two terminals and five concourses (A, B, C, D, E). MetroLink or complimentary buses transport passenger between terminals. Concourses A-D are a part of Terminal 1 and Concourse E is in Terminal 2.

11 airlines serve the STL Airport and fly daily to several domestic and international destinations. Lambert-Saint Louis International Airport has a several food and beverage eateries, many newsstands, and services for travelers.

Getting to and from the airport is a synch with St. Louis’s MetroLink, which has stations throughout the city and suburbs. Additionally, there are rental cars, hotel shuttles, taxis, buses, limousines and vans.  If staying near the airport there is over 20 options within 3 miles of the airport such as the Marriott St. Louis Airport Hotel and the Hilton Hotel St. Louis Airport.

Caltrain transports riders between San Francisco and the South Bay, with the system broken down into six zones. Fares depend on how many zones a rider travels through, how far in advance a ticket was purchased, whether a ticket is one-way or for another amount of time (daily, monthly, etc.), discounts and other factors. One-way tickets and day passes may be purchased at any train station on the day of travel only, whereas monthly or eight-ride tickets can be purchased at staffed train stations or automated ticket machines.

The Belmont Caltrain station has two automated ticket vending machines, one public telephone, two bicycle racks, 28 bicycle storage lockers and 375 paid parking spaces. To reserve a bike storage locker, call 650-508-6350.
