This public park is located two blocks north of County Road 42. It features a dog park, volleyball court, open and sheltered picnic areas and play equipment. Natural and paved trails mark walking and running paths during the warmer months and cross country ski trails are designated during winter months. Athletic fields are available for soccer, football, softball and baseball. The park also provides canoe rental.

The Shakopee Branch of the Jaycees is the largest in the nation with 171 members, who work together in a community development organization. Members work together to raise funds and awareness for children and youth groups, and community service projects. Members also promote civic involvement in the community as well.

Knights of Columbus is located off of Hamline Ave North in Roseville MN. The organization is made up of Catholic Men who have a a strong belief in healthy families, a strong community and the Catholic Church. The Roseville office of the Knights of Columbus is only one of the Minneosta locations.
If there's one thing Golden Valley is well known for, it is its parks and trails. Fifteen percent of the city is dedicated to parks and open space and the office overseeing those parks is located in the Brookview Community Center next to the Brookview Golf Course.
Amenities offered at the center include various community rooms that people use for meetings, parties and receptions; as well as grills and picnic tables on a deck outside with beautiful views of the golf course. Alcohol is allowed on-site for events, but people cannot bring their own alcoholic beverages, it has to be supplied by a designated beverage provider.
