The American Legion Hall is a Plainview-based post of the American Legion, which is a service to military veterans in and around the community.
The goal of B'nai B'rith is to prepare Jewish teens to be the leaders of tomorrow. The organization has an office on Manetto Hill Road, adjacent to (but not affiliated with) the Y building. B'nai B'rith offers travel programs to Israel, as well as career preparation. Spirituality is key, as members learn what it means to be a Jew in this day and age.
The Long Island Rough Riders Soccer Club features a men's, women's and junior team. The club also offers seasonal camps and training courses. The Rough Riders were established in 1994 and have helped to develop former U.S. National Team players such as Tony Meola, Chris Armas and MLS All-Star, Giovanni Savarese.
