MountainView Medical Group Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine provides specialized treatment for these types of wounds. Our Center is an outpatient clinic that specializes in the management of all types of wounds, including: Burns / Diabetic Ulcers / Infected Wounds / Non-Healing Surgical Incisions / Pressure Ulcers (bedsores) / Traumatic Wounds / Venous/Arterial Ulcers. We address the factors that can block ones ability to heal such as diabetes, poor circulation, infection, nutritional deficiencies, immobility and pressure injury. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy A hyperbaric oxygen chamber helps wounds heal by surrounding patients with 100% pressurized oxygen. This saturation promotes the bodys natural immune system and healing responses, allowing wounds to heal more easily, from the inside out. The therapy takes approximately 90 minutes, during which time the patient may nap or watch television while undergoing treatment.
