The Place is a free teen-focused program providing a safe hangout spot where kids from ages 13 to 18 can engage in park-run activities and comtemporary teen-issue discussion groups. Meetings and programs take place at the Orange Grove Recreation Building in Orange Grove Park on Mission Street.
South Pasadena City Hall was dedicated in 1988 and houses a number of city services, including public works, planning and building, transportation and finance. The City Manager and City Clerk also have offices inside City Hall. The South Pasadena Police Department is also located in the building.
The City Council meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month inside the City Council Chambers. Agendas are available on the City's website in advance of the meeting and City Council packets are available for review at the City Clerk's office and the South Pasadena Library.
South Pasadena Public Works is the town department responsible for road maintenance, sewers and municipal maintenance. The department is open to residents Monday through Friday.
