The Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice Courthouse hears misdemeanors and felony cases in Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and nearby unincorporated areas. Located in the Hacienda Business Park in Pleasanton, the Courthouse is easily accessible from Interstate 680 and Interstate 580.
Built in 1968, Harvest Park currently enrolls approximately 1150 students. It has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School, a California Distinguished School and a National School of Character. The school also takes part in the Community of Character initiative.
The school's motto is "Kids Come First," and the mascot is the Patriot. The principal is Jim Hansen and the school has an active Parent Teacher Association which publishes the Patriot Press. Members of the group also work as volunteers, host events, raise funds and foster communication among faculty, staff and parents.
Pleasanton Middle School was built in 1990 and is a California Distinguished School. It has about 1,100 students each year and has a wide variety of academic programs, extra-curricular activities and support services for it's students.
Among it's programs are Math Skills, Academic Assistance and Reading Improvement classes for students who need extra help.
Pleasanton Middle School is located in central Pleasanton, close to downtown and the city's historical areas. The principal is John Whitney and the school's mascot is the Panther.
Located on Chabot Drive, this United States Post Office offers mail pick up and delivery. Certified mail delivery, domestic mail, passport processing and postage stamps are also among the services offered.
The Parks and Community Services Department consists of Parks Maintenance, Recreation, Civic Arts, Human Services and Landscape Architecture. The department offers recreational programs and classes to residents.

The Pleasanton Police Department serves approximately 69,000 residents in the City of Pleasanton. The department's Chief of Police is David Spiller. It's two main divisions are Operations and Investigations and Services. The department has 87 sworn-in officers and 35 auxiliary staff. The police department offers a number of services to the community. One program is the Citizen's Police Academy program, first held in 2000. The class has about 20 to 25 participants; many graduates become volunteers within the department.
It also offers the Crime-Free Multi-Housing program, which was developed to make rental properties safe. The police department has a Youth and Community Services Unit, which includes D.A.R.E. officers, school resource officers, crime prevention officer and community service officer.
