Museum of Aviation is one of the largest aircraft museums operated by the U.S. Air Force. The museum offers a variety of American history exhibits and artifacts, and has a more than 65,000-square-foot hangar. It operates the Robert L. Scott Vistascope Theater and projector, scientific exhibits and classrooms, observation decks, art galleries, and exhibit halls. The various aircrafts exhibited by the museum include bombers, fighters, helicopters, missiles, drones and cargo aircrafts. It also provides special courses for teachers, and offers information about astronomical events and activities worldwide. It has a facility of more than 50 acres with over 90 restored aircrafts, and a gift shop that offers a variety of museum souvenirs, flight suits, model airplanes, clothing accessories and jewelry. Museum of Aviation is located in Warner Robins, Ga., and is accredited by the American Association of Museums.

New England Air Museum is the largest aviation museum in New England. Located at the Bradley International Airport, New England Air Museum was organized in 1959. It is owned and operated by the Connecticut Aeronautical Historical Association and is a non-profit educational institution.

The original museum, which was along Route 75, was destroyed by a tornado, and the new museum was constructed in 1981. It is located on Perimeter Road and has five buildings that store the worlds largest historic aviation artifacts.

There are so many museums and attractions at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum that it can take a full day or more to experience everything, including the waterpark. If you only have a few hours, then be sure to take a tour to learn as much as you can and then check out the Spruce Goose Cockpit Tour and Photo, Titan II SLV missile silo, the planes and WWII warcraft area. Outside food is not allowed at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, although you can get a pass to leave and picnic before returning to the campus. Dining options include the Liberty Belle Café and Cosmo Café, which feature dishes made with ingredients from local farms and can be accessed without paying for admission. The waterpark offers the The Milky Way Café and requires an admission ticket.
