North Star Community is an 80-plus-bed facility that offers a range of long-term care services in western Denver. It serves individuals between the ages of 22 and 103. The community provides 24-hour nursing, geriatric care and orthopedic rehabilitation solutions. North Star Community offers treatment services for patients with multiple sclerosis, dementia, chronic mental illnesses and other neurological disorders. The community accepts Medicare and Medicaid insurance plans. It also provides physical, occupational, speech, restorative and respiratory therapies. North Star Community offers wound, hospice and respite care solutions. It organizes community outings, as well as provides laundry, housekeeping and pain management services.
