Gulf Coast Chemical Inc. was established in 1981 to provide chemicals and related services to the oil and gas industry along the gulf coast. Located in Abbeville, La., it services a six state area, both on and offshore, from Port OConnor Texas to Pensacola, Florida. Although initially established as a chemical distributor, Gulf Coast Chemical Inc. formulates production, drilling, chemicals and it also provide contract blending and reclamation services. In the May issue of Purchasing magazine, Gulf Coast Chemical was recognized as one of the Top 100 chemical distributors in the United States.
