Anthony Forest Products Company (AFP) owns approximately 86,000 acres of timberland. AFP is a completely integrated forest products company that manufactures lumber and engineered wood products for home building, laminated wood, log homes and laminated beams. AFP owns land in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas and operates southern pine lumber producing mills in Urbana, Ark., and Atlanta, Texas and wood chip mills in Plain Dealing, La., and Troup, Texas. The company also operates an engineered wood laminating plant in El Dorado a laminating plant in Washington, Ga., and a new joint venture I-Joist, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. The company was incorporated in 1965 and begun in 1916. It is headquartered in El Dorado, Ark.
