Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is a non-profit organization funded entirely by grants, private donations and local businesses. Serving over 500 children daily at five locations, this club provides the youth of Sonoma with an after school program that focuses on skill building, education, and working as a team. Children also gain other skills such as arts, computer science and athletics. In addition to the Maxwell Clubhouse, the Boys & Girls Club serves children afterschool at Altimira Middle School, Sassarini Elementary, Dunbar Elementary and Flowery Elementary Schools. 

Its main clubhouse is located in Maxwell Farms Regional Park. The 22,000 sq foot building has a full sized gym, Intel Computer Clubhouse, art room, garden, music recording studio, kitchen and a large game room. The Boys & Girls Club is open to all children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years old.

Founded in 1970, the Mission Bay Aquatic Center is one of the worlds largest instructional waterfront facilities located in San Diego. The center offers a variety of instructional and recreational opportunities in wakeboarding, sailing, surfing, waterskiing, rowing, kayaking, windsurfing and kiteboarding. It is a regional boating safety center as part of a program funded by the California Department of Boating and Waterways. The Mission Bay Aquatic Center houses over 10 motorized watercrafts, more than 50 sailboats, approximately 100 surfboards, windsurf boards, kayaks and rowing shells. The center provides private lessons for individuals and small groups. It has partnerships with Correct Craft, Liquid Force, Hyperlite, Obrien and the Peninsula Family YMCA.
