Harriet Gershman is an advanced education tutoring center. It offers services to advanced students, keeping them ahead of the pack and providing them with further challenges. Enrollment is limited and takes place each summer.
Hinsdale Middle School has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The school was deemed a blue ribbon school in 2009. The U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbons Schools program honors public and private elementary, middle and high schools that demonstrate strong academic programs. The Hinsdale Middle School principal is Ruben Pena. Its mascot is the Spartans, and the school colors are blue and white.

One of the oldest standing churches in Hinsdale is Grace Episcopal Church, serving the community and surrounding areas since 1875. Education has long been a major focal point of Grace's ministry. In fact, the church's pre-school, started in 1953, is the oldest in Hinsdale. It offers programs for children ages two through five.
The Hinsdale Community Preschool provides a variety of programs to children ages two-and-a-half to five years. Located in the Hinsdale Community House, the preschool boasts a staff of highly qualified teachers who together teach with their students' parents in a parent cooperative. This allows parents to remain active in the classroom and get to know their children's curriculum firsthand. Hinsdale Community Preschool offers Parent and Me classes for younger students, as well as 3 and 4-year-old preschool.
Monroe Elementary School has been home to budding learners in Hinsdale since 1928. There have been many building additions over the years, but the school's towering brick and stone facade has remained. Monroe is one of four elementary schools in Hinsdale and has been recognized with the distinguished Great Schools Award, scoring a 10 out of 10 rating.
Monroe's teachers and faculty emphasize a nurturing, structured environment while learning. The school's PTO has dozens of enthusiastic parents who volunteer for various positions throughout the year, such as Room Parent, the annual Book Fair and Kids Care Club.
Hinsdale Township High School District 86 oversees Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South High Schools. The district provides a rigorous education and state-of-the-art facilities to its students. Students also benefit from a wide variety of competetive sports teams and academic clubs.
