The Center for Career and Technical Education serves more than 300 students in grades 10 and 11. The school s academic curriculum includes English, social studies, mathematics, reading and foreign languages. It also offers instruction in Welding, Automobile Collision, Law Enforcement, carpentry, masonry, cosmetology and computer technology. The Center for Career and Technical Education administers special education programs for students with special needs. The center maintains a library that offers a variety of educational resources and materials. It has bike, guitar, Spanish, book and military clubs. The Center for Career and Technical Education offers opportunities for students to participate in sports activities. It also has a student council, as well as supports the Future Business Leaders of America. The center is governed by Allegany County Public Schools.
