A quiet large park with three baseball diamonds, a basketball court and vast, sprawling soccer and lacrosse fields.  The football stadium, Blocksidge Field, is named for John Blocksidge, a Swampscott veteran who was killed in WW I. The field is home to the Big Blue football team.  The field house was erected in 1948 and dedicated to the heroic Swampscott men who lost their lives in World War II.

Playgrounds serve about 250 children, and the sailing programs offer instruction to about 175 students.

It borders Hadley Elementary School and Monument Avenue and offers views of the ocean, the town's first church and grand Victorian-style homes with turrets and porches that run the full front of the house..
