The Victor I. Rieck American Legion Post 351 serves veterans who served in World War I and II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, in Lebanon/Grenada, Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Storm. The American Legion is a members-only service organization. The Legion is community-oriented. In order to join, you must be currently on active duty serving the U.S. anywhere in the world, or have served honorably during eligible war eras. The commander at this post is Commander Steve Treadway, and the adjutant is Robert L. Stevenson. Post meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm.
Saline American Legion Hall, Post #322, is the local chapter of the national veterans and service organization. The American Legion Hall offers a banquet facility and event venue that can be rented by members of the community, with rental details and regulations available on the Saline American Legion website. The group is active in the community through charitable initiatives, and provides support, resources and services to its members and the general public.
