The National Holistic Institute is one of the most respected massage therapy schools in the world. It has been hosting students and teaching massage therapy since 1979. It is the first massage school in Northern California to be accredited. Once students graduate, a network of other graduates and supporters help place students in jobs. The NHI offers continuing education classes, financing and placement services.
Amathoasis provides math and science tutoring (arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, biology, chemistry, physics and more) in individual and group sessions, with a variety of grouping and scheduling options. There are "Sunday Success" evening drop-in tutoring sessions and summer programs available.
Students are helped in preparation for the math portion of a variety of standardized tests (SAT, GRE, CBEST, etc.), including practice test-taking, and Amathoasis will also proctor tests. The center offers discounts for pre-purchased tutoring packages.
