NWA Childrens Shelter is an emergency childrens shelter for girls to age 17 and boys to age 12. We have an on-site school and on-site counseling with a residential shelter that is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected may stay with us for up to 45 days in a six-month period, before being placed in foster care or returned to their families.
